HEAVY HITTERS TRAFFIC NET PREAMBLE

Is there any further business for the repeater before we begin the HEAVY HITTERS TRAFFIC NET? This is (YOUR CALL) net control.

This is a directed net that meets at 2200 hours local time on the MMRA Repeater Network on Mondays thru Friday. These repeaters require 146.2 PL for its operation.

The purpose for this net is the passing of formal written NTS traffic into and out of our coverage area of the repeater and to wherever third party traffic is allowed by law.

This net is affiliated with the National Traffic System of the American Radio Relay League. When calling the net please say HERE IS followed by a carrier drop (UNKEY) to check for doubling, then give your Callsign and state whether or not you have traffic for the net. All stations are invited to join the net and are encouraged to check in whether you have traffic or not. The first few callups are for stations with formal traffic and traffic only. These stations please call now.

Hearing nothing..this is (YOUR CALL) closing tonights session of the HEAVY HITTERS TRAFFIC NET. I would like to thank everyone that participated in the net, especially those who bought and took traffic and those that stood by ready and willing to take traffic if any had come their way. I would also like to thank the trustees of the repeater for it's use. The HEAVY HITTERS TRAFFIC NET will return tomorrow evening at 2230 hours.
